Why doesn’t Apple make keynote presentations available in iTunes?

Each time Steve Jobs does one of his presentations I get online that night, or the next day, and watch the Quicktime video of the presentation. Before I watch the Quicktime video, I check iTunes to see if, by some chance, Apple has made it available for download as a podcast. For some reason, they never do.

Wouldn’t it be nice to download the keynote and watch it whenever you want, and not have to be connected to the internet, or stuck at your computer watching the one to two hour presentation?

How hard would it be to make a podcast called “Apple Special Events” and post the video there for download?

I would download it. I would think many others would, too.
