Where is the DRM-Free iTunes Music?
On April 2, 2007, Apple issued a press release that read, in part:
"CUPERTINO, California—April 2, 2007—Apple® today announced that EMI Music’s entire digital catalog of music will be available for purchase DRM-free (without digital rights management) from the iTunes® Store (www.itunes.com) worldwide in May."
They did mean 2007, right?
I doubt they will do anything this holiday weekend, meaning that they have three days left, the 29th, 30th, and 31st to roll out a new version of iTunes that allows us to upgrade our EMI DRM tunes for an extra 30-cents.
Will Apple make it? Or will we see another delay? Voice your opinion below.
