UnBox 18 – Click, click, BOOM

Not a huge box, but not small, either. The return address shows DLO, a company that has a lot of products I am always interested in. Let’s get the 18th UnBox underway!

Sweet, a DLO iBook JukeBox! Let’s pull this out of the box and take a look.

So the iBoom JukeBox is more than a simple iPod / iPhone speaker system. It has a fantastic remote control that, mostly, replicates the function of your iPod. (And the iPod on your iPhone / iPod Touch) It shows album artwork, has a scroll wheel-like interface, and a crisp, clear screen. Or at least it looks like it does, as I have not used it yet!

The design is very nice. I like the shape, and if the packaging is any indication, it is well-built. Most things from DLO are.

Sam Levin tells me via iChat that the iBook JukeBox sounds really good, and that the remote works as advertised. Also, the remote itself is magnetized, and charges by simply clipping it (via magnets) to the back of the unit itself. Brilliant!

I can’t wait to plus this in and check it out.
