TurboTax 2007 Home & Business is okay, but there are a couple of REALLY annoying new bugs in the “improved” way stock and mutual fund sales are entered and calculated.
Overall, it’s great to have a streamlined version of EasyStep for users who are familiar with TurboTax. But the EXTREMELY TEDIOUS and confusing new way to enter and calculate stock and fund sales is infuriating.
With !! each !! minor entry, a daisy wheel starts spinning during the “Calculating” process that can go on for minutes, adding up to hours. I only had a few entries, but they consumed the entire morning. I’m a little more calm now that I’ve moved past this spot on the software, but I was not in a cheerful frame of mind a little while ago.
