In honor of 2009, the International Year of Astronomy, I’ve just published a feature review of all three of the major astronomy/planetarium/sky simulator programs: Imaginova’s StarryNight, Bisque’s TheSkyX and Carina Software’s Voyager.
The review is over at The Mac Observer.
Anyone who’s planning to get into amateur astronomy with a telescope or binoculars will find one of these programs essential for learning the constellations or planning an observing session. All three of the programs can connect to a modern telescope and control its movement.
The winner? You’ll just have to read the review.
