Apple Computer, Inc. is pleased to announce that they have acquired the domain site MyMac.com; it’s assets, and the ten years worth of content from publisher Tim Robertson.
Complete future plans for the site are yet to be announced, although Apple CEO Steve Jobs has stated, “The domain name MyMac.com was too similar to our own .Mac. Apple is also looking for another domain name to help grow our .Mac subscriber base. Future plans include moving all .Mac email addresses over to the .MyMac name.â€
Terms of the terms of the sale were not immediately disclosed.
