The group BareNaked Ladies has a new album coming out next week. Actually two albums. One for $10, and a double album for $20. Both are available for preorder in iTunes. Last night I got on iTunes and looked up the album and there was a third “Deluxe” option for $15.98. This options was the entire $20 option minus the pdf of an album insert, and listed as a release date of next week. However, it was available last night. I listened to samples from this album and enough of the album sounded good to me, so I bought it for $15.98. Twenty nine tracks for $16!
I had a feeling that someone messed up, so I got on iTunes this morning, and the $15.98 edition is gone! Someone got a little trigger happy at Apple this weekend.
People who preordered the $20 CD were really annoyed and
posting their feelings in the review section of the “deluxe” edition. I’d be a little annoyed myself. Glad I opted not to preorder.
I wonder if Apple is one employee short in the iTMS division.
