How many websites have you visited that have an email address to send questions and/or comments to? How many of these websites actually respond to those questions? I’d venture a guess that the number is less than 50%.
My wife sent emails out to three companies last week inquiring about similar things, and not one has responded to the email.
This is not the first time this has happened either. It happens to me on such a regular basis that I don’t even bother sending emails to some websites/companies because I don’t expect a response. When I get a response it is like I struck gold.
Here’s a tip: If you have a website for whatever, don’t list an email address for questions unless you plan on responding to those emails. If you have no intention of responding, don’t list an email address.
