This afternoon I was beating brush along one of the more bacteria-laden creeks in the city. Mostly I was scoping out the carp and their various haunts in clouded pools and riffles beneath muddied tree remains and moss covered tires and fractal trash pieces of objects you just can’t believe have found their way into a creek.
Observing stream quality in the city vs the mountains is a good way to see the vast amount of infrastucture remodelling that’s necessary to rehabilitate watersheds tainted by callous abuse. But I digress….
Beneath the railtracks of a trainpath there is often graffiti, and today there was the message in the photo. Maybe not the most pragmatic endeavor, but then again, a fine idea all the same…..
