Peek At A Future Apple iPhone?

Apple and Motorola have been in cahoots – decades, in fact. Now Motorola, Apple’s previous CPU provider, will announce tomorrow their new V3 CameraPhone.

This device has almost the same lust factor as the iPod, at only twice the price.

It’s 14mm thick, with a casing made mostly of titanium and it is full featured, with a built-in digital camera, Bluetooth, a 4,096 color external LCD, and a 262,000 color main LCD. Its due out in September with an expected price around $700.

Did we also mention that you will be able to download dozens of iTunes directly to it, because it is also a music player?

I do not believe it will play music as well as the iPod, which has the best stereo circuitry in the industry for portable music players. Nor will the V3 hold hundreds or thousands of tunes, since there is no hard drive.

Yet what the V3 represents is possibly what a future Apple iPhone would be, as to technology and advanced features. However, the Apple would obviously be better looking, or at least it would be white. . .

This is not a rumor, you understand. Apple has not said a thing about offering a cell phone at all. But the fact that this Motorola cell phone will be able to download iTunes directly is an awesome win for Apple, and this may signal a trend in the industry where Apple is touching other electronic products, and thereby growing its own business.
