Like many people, I stopped watching the Simpsons on a regular basis many years ago. The characters had become stale and other than the Halloween Treehouse of Horror yearly episode, I just didn’t really care anymore.
Well my kids wanted to see it last night and not having any paint to watch dry, I actually sat to view the opening thinking that once disappointment set in (I figured that would be around the time the starting credits ended) I would go and find more productive things to do with my time like reading last year’s email spam.
Well I’m glad I did as they did an almost flawless send-up of Apple, iPods, Apple Stores, and the cult of all things Mac. I could sit here and write about all the jokes but through the magic of YouTube you can see them for yourself. If you are such a Mac and Apple fan that you don’t find anything funny here, maybe you take yourself and your computer experience just a litle too seriously.
