Network TV Sucks? Or is it just me?

Odd thing I realized today: I watch one current character based TV show: Monk. All the other character driven stuff I watch is reruns (Futurama, Family Guy). I didn’t realize this until Roger mentioned some Sci Fi shows and I said I didn’t have time to invest in learning all the characters of a Sci Fi show. Then it occured to me that I don’t seem to have the inclination to invest time in any network TV. I’ve never seen an episode of Friends and I am thankful.

I do watch the monster shows on Discovery Channel once in a while, fear Factor every so often… But network TV has suddenly become largely neglected.

So I’m wondering is Network TV starting to suck more OR do I think it’s starting to suck more because I’ve left the coveted 18 to 34 demographic?

And how is Mr. McFeely able to keep up the “Speedy Delivery” when he’s always shooting the #$%# with Fred Rodgers?

I’m a strong Coca Cola guy so will the iTunes deal entice me to buy Pepsi instead? Hell yes.
