Macworld Expo round V

It hits me like a slap upside the head that 2007 is the fifth Macworld Expo I’ve attended with cohort and cowriter John Nemo.

Plenty of people have attended more, but making five out the last six shows is not bad. Jobs has attended more, but hey, he runs Apple, and can do whatever he wants.

First, the MyMac cadre will attend the Keynote (gotta be early early early in line.

Then, veteran aisle-cruiser that I am, I plan to swoop through the South Hall to get the lay of the land in the “big room,” followed by my favorite Expo pastime, checking out the small booths in the North Hall.

I love chatting with the small developers; they often have the best feel for the state of the Mac marketplace, especially for low-priced commercial and shareware products.

Day One starts with the Keynote, and finishes in a haze of people, noise, and enthusiasm, and it’s always great.

Bring it on, Steve!
