How do you prevent iPhoto from opening when you connect a camera to your computer?
A friend of mine asked me that question today. He wants to try a different photo program and doesn’t want iPhoto to keep opening when he connects the camera. Believe it or not, this setting is NOT in iPhoto. It is in the application called Image Capture.
Open Image Capture, go to the prefs in the Image Capture menu, and you’ll find the setting there.
Isn’t it time for a Default App System Preference for this setting, default browser, default mail, and anything else that falls into this category?
