LogMeIn goes 1.0

Back in June I blogged about LogMeIn and internet based option for remotely connecting to your Mac, or others. (https://www.mymac.com/showarticle.php?do=something&id=2058) It is really easy to use, and I still use it on a regular basis. In fact, a friend of mine regularly emails me to tell me he’s left his computer on for me to connect to because he needs my help fixing something.

The software that the computer you want to connect to needs has just reached version 1.0, and it is still 100% free. All you need is a web browser, a LogMeIn account, and the LogMeIn software installed on the computer you want to control.

You can’t share files between computers, but if you need to help out a friend or family member with a problem, this is a great way to save yourself a trip to his/her house.
