I love the new iPhoto and iWeb. The new features are great.
However, here is an upgrade warning for those with books made in iPhoto 06 (I’m guessing earlier iPhoto versions, too). When I upgraded to iPhoto 08 my books from iPhoto 06 disappeared. Luckily, I did not need them anymore, but I was a bit surprised to see them gone.
If you are working on a book in iPhoto 06, you might want to finish it up and order it before upgrading and losing all that time.
My guess is that the book formatting is a little different, hence the deleting of the old books.
Here’s another warning for those upgrading iWeb. Your site might need some tweaking after the upgrade. I had some pages that I had to go into and rearrange because some items were a little out of place when I upgraded.
Like I said, overall I’m very happy with the new versions.

UPDATE: I just helped my friend install iLife 08 and his iPhoto books stayed in tack. Maybe I had an error updating?
