I was just using iDVD and wanted access to an older theme that was listed under “Old Themes.” The theme was greyed out and when I chose it I was given three options to install the old themes. One was to download via Software Update. I chose that option and an iDVD download appeared in Software Update. It is now downloading and installing.
The options that appeared were “Download Now,” “Download Later,” and “Install From DVD.” The downloads happen via Software Update with a 302mb download. The installation requires the iLife 08 DVD.
I remember hearing about these extra themes a while ago, but I could never figure out how to get them. Now I know, and you do too.
