Every once in awhile, Apple is inspired by a concept they see in the market place, and they implement a variation in Mac OS X. Independent of issues related to IP, copyright, software patents, etc., there is usually some fuss by the developer about how they’ve been ripped off and put out of business by Apple.
However, when I got this e-mail from Julian Miller at Scriptsoftware.com, I was floored. What class. Here’s how Julian’s group responded. It’s very, very instructive and inspiring.
Even if they don’t much care for the reality of the situation, this is the way to handle it publicly. There is wisdom and tact in this blog.
