I just watched the WWDC Keynote on my iPod Touch and the quality and streaming were better than my iMac. I was shocked. I figured I would try watching it, but expected a bunch of blips and problems. Not only were there no problems, but the video streamed smoother than it has ever streamed on my computer. This was with a podcast downloading in the background.
Also, the picture quality was fantastic, but that is due to the smaller screen shrinking the lower quality of the streaming video into a smaller space.
I was even more impressed with what happened when I continued watching the stream this morning after starting it last night. Quicktime remembered where I left off. I don’t remember that even happening on a laptop or desktop.
If you have an iPhone or Touch and want to watch the WWDC keynote, skip the computer and use one of those devices. I found it to be a much better experience.
