Happy Birthday

This is just a quickie but I had to share it.

Over the weekend, I went on a full blown stock all the shelves shopping trip. It was January 24th and I was decked out in full Apple regalia as I’ve been lucky enough to shop at the “company store” in Cupertino. I had a t-shirt with an Apple Logo and my Apple Logo baseball cap on when I got to the check out.

The checker rang up all my groceries and I bagged as this is one of those discount groceries. I wrote her my check and handed it over but the oddest of things happened when the checker handed my receipt back to me. I would have sworn she said, “Happy Birthday” in reference to my Apple logos and of course the date.

I’m sure it didn’t happen that way. I’m sure my mind was just playing tricks on me… but if asked in a court of law, I would swear she’d said, “Happy Birthday.”
