Edison Labs 4-day iPhone Training Class

Edison Labs’ next four day class on iPhone Developer Training is now scheduled for Monday, May 4th through Thursday May 7th. I took this class last month and it was fantastic, and I already have three apps well underway on the iPhone.

This class is titled “Introduction to Objective C & iPhone Training”, and will teach you everything you need to know to get started developing applications for the iPhone. By the end of the class, you will not only have learned what it takes to use Interface Builder, Xtools, and the iPhone simulator, but you will have built several sample applications in Objective-C, and seen them run right on your own computer in the iPhone simulator. And, if you already have paid Apple the $99 to be a registered developer, you can even try out your sample applications on your own iPhone or iPod touch.

This course was developed by Dr. David Wilson, graduate of Stanford University, who was a lead instructor for Apple University, Apple’s own internal training program for employees. David has more than 30 years experience teaching object oriented programming and object design, and currently has released several apps through the iTunes store. David’s style of teaching includes lectures and presentations, sample programming, and one-on-one time if you get stuck or start to fall behind.

The class will be held at the Inn at Saratoga, Saratoga, California, only 5 miles from the Apple campus. Lunch will be provided daily, as will coffee, tea, sodas, water, and an assortment of snacks. If you are coming from out of town, the Inn at Saratoga offers discounted rates to people taking this class. See our website for more info at http://www.edisonlabs.net

Enrollment is now open for the May class, and they are, for a limited time, still offering an early registration discount of $400 off the normal price of $2495, meaning you can enroll now for only $1995.

And, if you bring one or more friends (who also sign up, pay, and attend the class), they will offer you a further 10% discount off the regular price of $2495, making the regular price of the class only $2245.50. Of course, if you register early, they will still include the $400 early registration discount as well, for a one time special price of $1845.50. You will not find a less expensive training class of this quality. Please email Edison Labs for more details on this discount at info at edisonlabs dot net (sorry, need to spell it out because of spammers. Just convert that to a real email address. Thanks.)

Edison Labs offers a unique development course for those individuals preparing to design and release their own iPhone applications. You can sign up for this class at the Edison Labs website (http://www.edisonlabs.net), simply select App School, and then iPhone App School to get details, and view the registration form. Note that while Edison Labs uses PayPal to process their payments, you do not have to have a PayPal account to pay, and can use credit cards directly on their payment site without a PayPal account.
