As I wait for tomorrow morning and my flight to San Francisco to attend the Macworld Conference and Expo, I find myself getting antsy. I am really looking forward to meeting some of the MyMac writers I have yet to meet in person, as well as reconnecting with some of those I have met. There are also a ton of people from the Mac universe to have meetings with, other web owners and writers to chat up, and that is not even mentioning whatever it is Steve Jobs will be showing at the Keynote on Tuesday morning.
But since I do have at least 18 hours before my flight leaves Grand Rapids to San Francisco (with an hour stop-over in Detroit) I thought I would take a look at what some of the other Mac sites are up to this last day before Expo.
John Martellaro over at the Mac Observer has some prediction up about CES (The Consumer Electronics Show, also going on next week) and what effect those products will have on the Mac market. I agree with all this picks, which include HD DVD, Blue-Ray, 1080p TVs, and more. Check out John’s article here. http://www.macobserver.com/article/2007/01/05.14.shtml
Speaking of CES, engadget has a running blog of what is new and happening at that expo, which you can find here. http://ces.engadget.com/
If it’s iPod information you are looking to see from the Macworld expo, be sure to read our friends over at iProng (http://www.iprong.com) for all the iPod news you could want.
I had planned on making this a longer entry, but it appears I need to do some laundry now so that I actually have some clean jeans next week. DOH!
