Check out Rocco DeLuca and The Burden

Took a break from the iPhone grindstone to take in a concert performance from Rocco DeLuca and The Burden at the Henry Fonda Theater this evening. I got to interview Rocco a few months ago so maybe I’m biased, but the band’s music just keeps growing on me the more I listen to it. The single “Colorful” will hook you immediately, and the rest of the album will suck you in when you’re least expecting it.

The view of Hollywood Boulevard from the roof of the theater is pretty good, but the nighttime lighting for photos wasn’t so good.

You can find the album I Trust You to Kill Me in iTunes. And yes, this is the band who infamously had Kiefer Sutherland for a tour manager for ten days and then fired him. But anyway, it’s all about the music, so if it’s your thing, enjoy.
