Big Kitty Fix

I just love Springtime. The smell of cut grass (the legal kind), flowers blooming, weather warming, the sound of rain hitting the roof late at night, Apple releasing a new operating system which breaks some critical applications….Wha?

Many have already bought and installed Apple’s latest OS X system software codenamed (OH so secret!) Tiger. Maybe you’ve already discovered some software incompatibilities that is currently making your life miserable.

Well, the power of the web to the rescue. Macintouch has already released a compatibility chart with many of the applications that were made disfuctionable by Tiger and links to updates to repair them. Find it right HERE.

I would love to go into a rant about TigerDirect’s lawsuit against Apple for the Tiger name. But frankly it isn’t worth it. I doubt this will go much beyond a judge snickering and throwing the whole thing out. Once the major hoopla with Apple’s Tiger release dies down, TigerDirect can go back to being the king of google as far as tiger searches goes.

I bought a five user Tiger box from Amazon.com which I should get in the next day or so. It still lists the $50 rebate for the 5 user pack and the single user box has a $35 rebate. Probably the best deal that I know of online. If you’re planning on buying Tiger, go get it now while this offer still exists.

I plan on installing it on my G4 tower and will write up something on it once it’s done. Or when my wife runs out of honey-dos. Whichever comes first.
