Before buying that orange Shuffle you might to want see it in person first.

I was at the Apple Store today and checked out the new colored Shuffles while I was there. All of the colors were what I expected, except for orange. I expected this bright metallic orange color, similar to the bright colors of the Nano and the rest of the Shuffle colors.

What I saw was more of an orange/umber metallic (more on the brown/copper side of orange). It still looked good, but it may not be what you’re expecting if your only point of reference is Apple’s website. I highly suggest seeing one in person first so that you aren’t disappointed.

Whatever color you choose, these things are small. It is the second time I have seen the 2nd generation Shuffle in person, and I am still amazed at how small they are.
