Having trouble sleeping? Feeling stiff from too many hours sitting in front of a computer? How’s your energy level these days? What if I told you everything will be better if you tie a piece of parachute cord around your wrist and wear it as a bracelet for a few days?

ThinkTank Airport International LE Classic Pro Roller – Review

When shopping for a camera bag, it’s important to give some thought to how you’ll use it. Just as you don’t need a $5,000 Nikon DSLR to take good pictures of your nephew’s birthday party, neither do you need a $400 rolling camera suitcase if you’re just traveling short distances and not carrying a pile of gear.

VisionTek 4 Port PCIe USB 3.0 Expansion Card – Review

How often do you back up your computer? For me, it used to be a nightly chore but I recently changed my backups to a weekly schedule. Sometimes this means that more data is being transferred to my external drive than would be if I were doing this task daily. My external drive was connected to a 2.0 USB port. It didn’t move data at a snail’s pace but it wasn’t exactly lickety-split either.

ThinkTank Airport Roller Derby – Review

There are several rolling suitcase-like camera packs on the market, but I’ve yet to see one that can match the Airport Roller Derby for smoothness and durability. The pack is slim enough to roll through the aisle in an airplane and will easily fit into most overhead compartments. Unlike a similar ThinkTank product I reviewed about 18 months ago, this one comes with four dual wheel sets instead of single wheels. These wheels are so responsive you can move this pack, fully loaded, with one finger.

Over-ear Headphones by Share Brands – available in five colors – Review

Share Brands headphones are cushioned, comfortable, and stylish. Sound is decent, but quality drops off at the lower end of the spectrum. Adequate for non-audiophiles and listeners not fussy about superior bass and crisp highs, these headphones come with a 5.7 foot cable and standard 3.5mm plug. They can be used with any iOS device or desktop computer. Thereâ’s an inline control button on the cable that allows users to switch between music and phone calls when a call comes in.

Prosoft Picture Rescue 2 – Review

There are many ways to lose your digital photos. The easiest way is to format your camera’s memory card, which erases everything and makes room for new images. You can also lose files when something goes awry while transferring file from your camera to your computer. Sooner or later, many of us discover that we want some of those erased photos back. That’s when you should reach for Picture Rescue 2, a utility that scans your SD card and reconstructs any files that haven’t been overwritten by new files.

Intensify Pro – Review

Intensify Pro is a photo editing application for Macs with a seemingly magical ability to make pictures pop with vibrant colors and razor sharp focus. While it has some shortcomings, it is still an amazing application that you can use as a standalone or as a plug-in for Aperture, Lightroom, and Photoshop.

Halfpack RT Combination Pack and Case – Review

The Xplorer Halfpack is a high quality backpack that can also be carried as a messenger bag or a briefcase. It’s spacious enough to be used by college students hauling books and electronic devices around, and stylishly casual enough to use for a daily commute to the office. I used it on two weekend trips and found it perfect for carrying a change of clothes, an iPad, an iPod, iPhone, toiletries, medicines, and magazines.

Victor Wallet by Waterfield Designs – Review

The first time I laid eyes on the Victor Wallet, I thought, there is no way this thing is going to work for a packrat like me. The beautiful leather wallet I’ve been using the last few years has an unusual amount of space for credit cards, insurance cards, gift cards and the like. Naturally, over the years, my needs expanded to fill the space available.

Eskuche Control V2 Headphones – Review

The Eskuche Control V2 Headphones are cushioned on-ear headphones. The headband is a strip of padded aluminum, easy to adjust and, like the headphones, comfortable to wear. The ear cups are rectangular and come in a variety of unconventional colors. The cable is soft woven material that resists tangles, and includes a 3-button microphone for use with in iPhone or iPad. But overall, these headphones are at best an entry level product with mediocre audio.
