Apple Needs One Combined Order Status Page

I just got my credit card bill and there was a $40 charge on it to the Apple Store. I did not remember buying anything from the Apple Store (online, by the way) so I logged into my account to see what I bought.

I checked my account and found no order for that amount, or no part of an order for that amount.

What was going on?

I was about to contact my credit card company when it dawned on me that I had placed a book order through iPhoto for that amount.

First, I breathed a sigh of relief knowing there wasn’t a person out there ordering from the Apple Store on my account. Then I was a little annoyed.

Why can’t Apple show all of your purchase history under one login? Combine iTunes orders, iPhoto orders, and online orders onto one “Order Status” page. Why do I have to go to different pages to check different orders?

If this was the case my life would have been a lot easier for those few minutes of panic.
