Apple Event on October 14th

Yes it’s another Apple event. Coming so soon on the heels of the new iPod Nanos and iTunes 8 just a few weeks ago. Not much of a mystery this time around. My rather lame attempts at humor aside in the blog description, it most definitely will be about Mac portables. There have been some rumors lately about a possible new product that some have named the aluminum brick taking it mean that a new Mac will be formed from a solid brick of metal…right.

I honestly have no idea what it’s going to be exactly, though new looks for the MacBooks and MacBook Pros would be welcome after a few years of the old design (listen to the last podcast where I was unmercifully beaten down and made to feel inadequate…wait…that’s most days and most people…never mind), but I think it’s going to be something different and new. The sub notebook that so many people have been clamoring for from Apple for instance. Now they can finally retire those 12-inch iBooks and PowerBooks.

Apple has really taken a beating lately in the stock market and most likely a new really cook product will really get the juices flowing for the Christmas buying season.

Might be time to grab some Apple Stock while it’s still cheap boys.
