An apology to MyMac Readers

First off, no advertiser, not the publisher, not Apple, nor any other writer of MyMac is making me, or even asking me to write this:

My apologies to all of you who were so outraged that I might dare criticize Apple for making bad business decisions. My apologies for stating my own opinions on the ease of use of Mac vs. Windows. My apologies for stepping on the religion we all call Apple with opposing views. My apologies for thinking Steve Jobs could make a bad business decision.

I obviously seriously over estimated the ability of this audience to engage in intelligent dialog over such controversial ideas from someone who was trying to “think differently” and stir up a little dialog with a sarcastically written rant on issues that truly bothered me. I will not make that mistake again. From the responses, threats, and insults I received from so many of you, I obviously made a serious mistake on the ability of this audience to read and intelligently discuss negative views on Apple and its products. I get it people, no more criticism of Apple, its products, or its business decisions in here regardless of fact. So be it.

From now on, I will only post happy, fluffy, simple opinion pieces on just how great Apple is, how wonderful all Apple products are, how perfect their service is, and what a great job Steve is doing with all his decisions. I will only write things on how Apple is the best computer in the world, that Windows could never be as easy to use as a Mac, and that Microsoft sucks badly compared to Mac, because frankly, you have made it crystal clear to me that this is all you want to read from me in here. This will save me a great deal of time too, as I will no loner need to actually investigate anything concerning Apple.

I am sorry I took an opposing view and hurt all your feelings. Most of you were obviously just not ready for it. My bad!

And lastly, to those few of you who did try and discuss and understand my issues, my apologies to you as well. I apologize that I will no longer post thought provoking differences of opinion to get started what should have been an interesting discussion. I am sorry I cannot bounce these ideas off people who can help me understand issues better as well. I simply cannot take another beating like this last one.
