After using the App Store for my iPod Touch I’ve noticed a few annoying issues.
1. iTunes says there are updated apps for me to download. I click the button to see what is available. The Applications label in the Library list says two. I click to see the updates and there is only one. I download the one, and the label still says there is an update available even though there isn’t.
2. When I update Apps on the Touch the new updated App is placed at the end of my listing of Apps. Why can’t it just replace the current icon in the place it is in. I have the icons arranged in a way I like and every time I update an app I have to rearrange the icons again.
3. I will read about an App and search for it on the Touch through the App Store. It doesn’t show up. I search for it in iTunes and it pops right up. What’s the deal?
Another non App store annoyance. Why does it take so LOOOOOOOONG to back up the Touch? and why does it have to start backing up every time I sync the thing? I will disconnect the Touch and reconnect two minutes later, and iTunes starts backing up again. Why can’t it ask it I want to do this?
Anyone have these issues?
