3G Month to Month On The iPad

The 3G iPad offers month to month service without a contract. You can cancel whenever you like.

I have been wondering what happens if you cancel the service early. Do you get service for the remainder of the thirty days on your contract? or does service stop the day you cancel.

I was hoping you would get the remainder of the time. This would avoid forgetting to cancel the service and getting charged for another month you didn’t want.

No such luck.

According to the Apple sales person I just spoke to the 3G service stops the day you cancel. If you want to get the entire thirty days out the service you want to cancel your service on day thirty.

I guess that will be something worth setting an iCal alarm for.
