A little over one year ago I ordered a Macbook for my Uncle. Over the weekend it had something strange happen and it won’t boot. It keeps spinning at the Apple logo.
Anyway, I spoke to him tonight and he can’t find his Macbook discs, so he is going to bring me the laptop this week to try and fix it . Going to give DiskWarrior a spin and if that doesn’t work archive and install Leopard.
A few minutes ago I got an email from an Apple support representative telling me he spoke to my family members about their portable. I am assuming this was my uncle. He told me what they tried and what he suggested they do next.
I have never heard of this happening before. I am guessing since I bought the Macbook through my account for him, it is linked to me. Even if it is, I never expected an email from Apple support telling me a conversation happened with my family member about his laptop!
Pretty cool!
On another note, if anyone has any other suggestions on how to fix his Macbook leave a comment below.
