10.5.2 scared the living daylight out of me

Sometimes I am easy to scare. My fianc’e walked the dog and I figured that was the most opportune moment to update my computer to 10.5.2. It wasn’t. After the update my computer went to the blue screen of death. I got nervous, shut down the computer and restarted. Most likely the wrong thing to do, the computer just wouldn’t do what I expect it in a reasonable time.

I went so far to go and get my laptop to read up about it on the web, so please let me just say:

If your computer gets stuck on blue upon updating to 10.5.2 give it time, lots of time. Chances have it that after 15 minutes or so, you’ll get the login screen and all is well.

This was the worst Apple Update Experience I have had so far…
